Our background story

We are Mark & Caroline Minshall, a husband & wife team specialising in luxury weddings at exclusive castle venues. Mark hails from Derbyshire, England, while Caroline is from Sligo, Ireland. Our love story began while traveling through Western Australia in 2004 — Caroline capturing photographs and Mark filming his adventures. Since then, we've been inseparable.

Residing in North Sligo with our 2 boys, our journey to Pink Lime Studios was unconventional. Mark's background as an electrician and Caroline's experience in the film and arts sectors laid the groundwork. Together, we pursued our passion projects, including a documentary about an Ugandan orphanage, where we immersed ourselves in capturing compelling stories. Combining Mark's technical prowess with Caroline's keen eye for beauty and romance, we established Pink Lime in 2009. Specializing in luxury weddings, we bring dreams to life with our expertise and meticulous attention to detail. Caroline loves sea swimming, winter dipping, yoga and badminton! She loves baking with her boys too, choc biscuit cake is the fave. Kayaking is her go-to for mind calm, and she looks forward to travelling the globe again one day, but for now what's most important to her & Mark is their family and raising their 2 boys to be good, kind folk.

Mark (a.k.a. Buff) loves cold water too. Dipping in ice buckets as per the Wim Hof theory or swimming in the sea. Either will do. He rocks DIY and can fix almost anything. He enjoys badminton, yoga and loves producing music on his korg groove machines, if he ever finds a spare hour or 6!
